What would it be like if we truly lived without fear? Have you thought about it? What has held you back this morning, when you were putting on your shoes? Did fear hold you back at the workplace? In your family life? In your relationships? Fear is “a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid.” Do we ever stop to think about the threat, is it real or imagined?
Today, take a deep breadth. For a minute or two focus on your breadth, then think about a fear that you have experienced recently. Be determinate and choose to be fearless, calmly resolute in facing the threat. Or maybe you can stop long enough to see that the obstacle that is creating your fear is imagined: a creation of your powerful mind. Remember that you have the power to create the imagine threat and that you have the power to make it disappear. Savor this knowledge and live today fearlessly!
